Wiper unit for stencil printing machine - uses a magnetically influenced wiper roller and a transporter for the ink which passes above the wiper roller

The lower side (11) of the transporter (1) passes above the wiper roller (2) at a distance from it. The distance (5) between the leading lower edge (12) of the transporter and the wiper roller can be varied by means of an ink tube (6) connected to the transporter. The design is suitable for use with a rotary of flat bed stencil machine. In the former case the ink tube is located in the centre of a cylindrical stencil (3) and the transporter has its lower side (11) shaped so as to form an approx. concentric curve relative to the stencil. The difference between the two radii is somewhat greater than the diameter of the wiper roller located within the stencil above a magnetic beam (7).
