Combustion system for incinerating liquid refuse - burns fuel oil and refuse mixture in a furnace subjected to ultrasonic vibrations

Combustion arrangement for difficult to burn or ignite liquid materials mixes with incombustible material, is used for incinerating liquid refuse and for making it acceptable from environmental point of view. This material, such as heavy oil residues, is mixed with readily ignited liquid fuel and blown through a nozzle into a combustion chamber. The light fuel oil is mixed in metered quantities and the mixture is blown into the chamber subjected to sonic or ultrasonic vibration field and ignited there. Fuel components can also be brought separately into the combustion chamber and mixed there in the ultrasonic vibration field. The mixture is blown through the nozzle (6) with an oscillation generator and the main combustion chamber (24) is connected to the atomiser by an intermediate combustion chamber (19) which is provided with fireproof and heat storing walls (20, 21).
