A first diode (D1) is connected in parallel with a resonant circuit having one end connected through a supply voltage inductance and a switching component to a supply voltage source terminal. The resonant circuits' other end is connected through a second diode (D2) with the supply voltage source's (Vb) other terminal (frame). The junction point between the resonant circuit capacitor (C3) and inductance (L3) is connected through a further diode (D3) to a point of the supply voltage inductance (L1). Thus, instead of a transformer an inductance is used as the coupling element with the power voltage source, irrespective of the impedance of the deflection coil and the characteristics of the transistors.
