A system for production of wood products from tree trunks envolves processes in which the branches and bark are removed and the round trunks thus produced are passed through a sensor station where their diameters are measured . The trunks are then sorted by a conveyor system into diametral size ranges and the specific size trunks subjected to processes arranged for their defined dimensions. The trunks are passed through cutters, planers, saw etc. and the resultant products further transported on conveyers, trimmed and sorted into storage areas for each specific size of product.
