Ventilating system for operating theatre - providing laminar sterile air flow over operating table

Laminar sterile air flow, restricted to the region of an operating table, issues from a screen in a side wall of an operating theatre, fitted with parallel side deflectors at right angles to the screen, which form constraining air curtains. The screen need only extend a length of 2-3 times width of the table, the blower capacity being also economised.
