The appts. works in a differential amplifier made and detects an error between the position remand of remote controlling potentiometers or power sources and the position of the master potentiometer. The amplifier error voltage is used to drive a stepper motor which in turn drives the master potentiometer and reduces the error to zero. Transistor logic circuitry is used to resolve the ambiguity caused by differing rise times of power and drive voltage on the stepper motor. An operational amplifier working in non-inverting made blocks operation of the master potentiometer when its voltage is zero.
