The case allows the valve to be operated from a distance, and contains a component of elastic sheet metal enclosing the aerosol can and having two convex side portions protruding through rectangular openings in the side of the case. The component is secured to the collar at the top of the can, so that when the convex portions are squeezed the latter is forced upwards, althrough a cap, fitting by friction on the top of the case, prevents the valve rising also. Consequently the valve is opened and the jet sprayed out.
