Milling calculator with four sets of scales - each set has two fixed and sliding scales with logarithm markings

The scales of each of the four sets each correspond to different milling parameters. Each set of scales is formed from two fixed scales which enclose several sliding scales. Adjacent edges of the scales slide against each other in the manner of a slide rule, with one edge of each scale having a set of logarithmic markings, the other edges of the scales each having a corresponding set of zero marks. The calculator allows a simple calculation of variables required for milling operations. The cutting parameters include speed, depth, length of cut, number and form of teeth etc.
