External and internal ceramic coating pieces for buildings having complete freedom from cracks, refractory nature and zero expansion coefft. is made by dry mixing raw, dry, powdered clays, calcined, dry, white clay, subsequently granulated then sieved into fraction 0.05 sieve, and 0.05-0.5, 0.5-1.5 sieve. The powders are mixed with water at a rate of 20.1/100 kg. mix. to produce a moist paste which is extruded into soft strips, from which articles are punched out, or moulded. The moulded parts are dried in warm air and fired at 1250 degrees C. Useful as wall tiles, paving stones, ceiling tiles.
