A tubular frame, comprising two sides (1) and a rear, is fitted around the WC pedestal (4, 5) at a slightly higher level. Screwed feet (2, 3) are provided for adjustment purposes. The shower base (6) is hinged to the frame on either side or the rear, depending on the space available. Reinforcement bars (11, 13) under the base have their ends bent down at right angles to provide location tabs (12, 14). In the bottom of the shower base is a drainage hole (8), directly over the WC pan and having a sliding shutter (9) to seal it when not in use. If preferred, the base can be wall mounted.
