The document wallet is made from a blank (1) with two rectangles (2, 3) to form the front and rear, and a triangular flap (7) which when the blank is folded, is attached to the front (3) to form a pocket, open on two sides. The open side opposite the flap, carries tabs (e.g. 2a, 3a) for marking to indicate the contents. The vertical (9, 10) and horizontal (5, 6) fold lines are spaced apart sufficiently to ensure that a substantial stack of documents can be held inside. When the flap is folded over the front, a diagonal slot (11) registers over a hole (3b) in the front, and a hollow rivet is attached so that the flap is attached to the front. To enable the wallet to fold flat after the riveting operation, the rivet slides along this diagonal slot.
