Suspension and marking filing device - has tab swingable out from divider card and hook releasable from suspension rail

A suspension filing and marking device consists of a sheet of plastics material cut at the top to form the hook (1) and folded vertically (2) to give a flanged portion (3) and a sleeve into which is inserted a marking slip. The inside of the hook has a folded over tab (5) which slides along the edge of the suspension rail (6). The edges (8) of the folded portion slope down at an angle, away from the hook. The vertical portion (9) is folded so that there is a slot on the inside to receive the divider sheet (11) of the filing system and the whole is attached by a metal eyelet (12) attached to the end of a metal pin (13) integral with the divider sheet (11). By swinging the plastics sheet outwards about this pin the hook is freed from the suspension rail.
