Double loop for belts of varying width for trousers or skirts is obtd. by lining long loop, which is stitched to the garment along its top and bottom edges, with at least one shorter loop which consists of a complete circle closed by stitching at a point along the length of the long loop. The shorter loop may be formed on the inside or on the outside of the long loop. Alternatively the shorter loop may be stitched together with the long loop at the top edge, and at another point further down stitched to the garment.
