The stop of a vehicle bumper has a steel frame (1) clad in plastic material (2). Part of the stop is below the horizontal centre (4) of the bumper. In the stop are two housings (6) (6a) at 180 deg. to house a spray (5). The input pipe (8) to the spray is housed inside the stop and the liquid flow is controlled by a valve (9) which is located on a boss (10) and held by a friction washer (11). The spray is aimed so as to wash the headlamps or the windscreen of the vehicle. The system may be fitted as new on a vehicle, or it may be incorporated on an existing vehicle.
