At each end of a slat (1) is a flat section (11), placed at an angle in relation to the vertical axis of the slat, which engages in a continuous groove (21) running the length of an upright (2), allowing the slat to be slotted in in the correct inclined position. The flat section is slightly shorter than the depth of the groove. The slats can be placed edge to edge or a space can be left inbetween to allow light through. In order to allow reinwater to run off the slats, they are all parallel, while the upper and lower cross-pieces (3) have, on one of their inside edges, bevelled edges parallel to the slats. The grooves in the uprights are also used both for fixing and positioning of the crosspieces.
