1450306 Consolidating earth BERGWERKSVERBAND GmbH and BAYER AG 10 Dec 1974 [26 July 1974] 53427/74 Heading E1F An earth or rock formation is consolidated by reacting, within the formation, a polyisocyanate with a polyol containing 5-50% by weight of a polyether with an OH number below 100 produced by reacting a compound having more than one reactive hydrogen atom per molecule with an excess of 1, 2-alkylene oxide. The compound having more than one reactive hydrogen atom per molecule may be a carboxylic acid, phenol, alcohol or amine.
