Indicator for gas remaining in gas bottle - pref. has display window and scale in sprung loaded bottle support

Difficulty in determining how much gas is remaining in a liquid gas bottle is overcome by resting the bottle on a sprung loaded support with a visible display. A gas bottle support comprises a cylindrical element (1) which rests on the ground. A second cylinder element (2) slides over the first element and is dished (4) to receive the base of the gas bottle. Springs within the two elements support the weight of a gas cylinder. A coloured area (3) on the side of the lower element (1) is visible through a graduated window in the side of the upper element (2). The display depends on the weight of gas in the gas cylinder.
