The fuse holder strip is particularly intended for motor vehicles and has its contact components carried by a support strip. The different connecting dimensions and spacing of the contact components (21) of fuses (31) and automatic circuit breakers are bridged by a spring, forming a U-shaped middle section (22) of a contact terminal (20). This U-shaped section is inserted into a lateral recess (11) of the support strip (10) in such manner that the L-shaped, upwards bent contact component (21) can perform its spring action from the edge of the support strip laterally and downwards. Preferably the recess(es) for the contact terminal(s) is located on both longitudinal sides of the support strip in orthogonal opposition.
