Malignant neoplasm or benign tumour diagnostic apparatus - uwing using thermographic infra red spectrum diagram investigation of tissue

The spectrum diagram of the whole infra-red spectrum is analyzed and the type of disease identified by comparing the shape of the diagram, band width of the occupied bands and their degree of displacement with the corresponding values from a healthy tissue spectrum diagram. Preferably, the infra-red rays of a hot spot are split by a monochromatic band filter or the prism of a monochromatic illuminator and the output signal transformed into an electrical signal which is then electronically amplified and recorded. The variation curve of the monochromatic radiation intensity is shown as a function of its wave length, by means of a coupling linking the system of successive selection of the monochromatic rays and the recording sheet drive system.
