Temporary plastic roadworks sign - has circular hollow section post with pairs of radiating flanges receiving panels fixed by screws

The temporary traffic sign uses a post (1) of circular hollow section with pairs of continuous projecting parallel flanges, the pairs of flanges being diametrically opposed. The flanges receive instruction and information panels (2) with their inner ends fixed sandwich fashion between the flanges. Pref. the space between a flange pair corresponds to panel thickness, and pairs of flanges ideally four are employed at 90 deg. to one another. The circular section is stiffened via diametric inner webs. The flanges are holed (6) at intervals for panel (2) fixing via screws (3). Additional holes are provided at the flanged bases of the posts for dowelling to foundation blocks and the posts are made of extruded plastic e.g. poly-vinyl chloride.
