Gas flow regulating and blocking valve is of the type which can be fitted into a gas pipeline and it has a hollow body with a support (50) which is divided into two front and rear chambers which are respectively connected to input and output orifices. The chambers can be connected to each other or may be isolated from each other by means of a valve. The chamber connecting valve is spring loaded and is connected to automatic flow regulating means which control the variable closure of the valve. The regulating means are sensitive to the active pressure variations of the gas.
