The prefabricated curtain wall fascade has a rectangular concrete edge frame and includes edge member profiles which accommodate sealing strips and insulants. Lateral vertical external faces have a rectangular and a 'V' groove, the former locating towards the exterior, and with the groove in an abutting panel, serving to house a rain barrier strip, and the latter similarly forming a drainage channel. The basal panel (4) edges have a horizontal inner surface which bears on the load bearing substructure (13) and an external downwardly projecting flange, with an inclined transition length between the two. Upper panel (3) edges complement this form with a rebate providing fitment to the substructure and insulant layers (21, 22, 23) are inserted in all panel to substructure interfaces with a compression water seal (32) between inclined abutting faces.
