Solar heating system for building - uses thin sheet behind glass panel to absorb rays of sun

The heat from the sun's rays is absorbed by a thin sheet of material (1), retractable if desired, behind a glass panel (3). Alternatively, the material can be between twosuch panels, and can be in the form of a venetian blind adjusted manually or automatically. Instead of a sheet of material, there can be a layer of heat-absorbent and conductive fluid. The energy recovered can be stored in earth, concrete or bricks at a distance from the heater, and which can be very carefully insulated. Alternatively, the thermal energy can be stored in porous material, or material divided so that air can flow through, such as pebbles, rollers, broken glass etc, in the ceiling.
