Variable ratio multiple planetary gear transmission - modification of multiple planetary system doubles ratio

The variable ration transmission system with an alternator (9) feeding a control motor (10), as in the main patent, includes a modification of the planetory system, to double the ratio. The planet wheels (17) are mounted on the same carrier as further planet wheels (20) of section III of the system, with satellites (21, 21') meshing with a crown (22) integral with the crown (14) of the input set. The carrier (23) of section III is connected with the reversing section (IV) which has an internally toothed crown (24) integral with the latter carrier (23) and a central planet set (25) integral with a central set (25) integral with the carrier (16) of the control set. The inverter (IV) has a set of satellites (26) meshing with the central set (25) and another set (27) meshing with a crown (29) in section (IV).
