Hairy prostheses comprises clamps of hair stitched or stuck onto a support which can adapt its shape to follow exactly the surface contours of a bald patch. Used for mfr. of hair pieces each designed to cover only part of the person's scalp, for use individually or in groups. The flexible locally anchored hairpieces are less at risk of disturbance than use of a conventional half or full wig sitting partly over areas of the head still covered with hair.
