The fitting may be a soap dish or any other bathroom or kitchen fitting. The bracket (4) is affixed to the wall permanently by means of two fixing screws through the holes (8). The bracket has a horizontal shelf (5) and a vertical retaining bar (6), running along the whole length of it. The fitting has a similar vertical bar (3) mounted at the rear on bearing face (2). The bearing face can slide in over the shelf (5) on the bracket. The shaped lid (10) of the bracket can be dropped into place.
