The truck for the transport of a patient after an operation lifts the patient from the operating table by encasing the latter ans suspending him or her in the stretcher inside the truck. The latter has a lengthwise bar at the top accommodating fracture traction instruments and means for tilting it up and down, together with a hard plate raised by a winch acting on two lifting devices coupled by rope. The plate retracts into the storage position to allow the truck to be moved over an operating table, and can be moved to the lowest level from the height of the stretcher poles. There is an opening in the stretcher to accommodate the pelvis.
