Combined chess and draughts board for four players - with edge panels connected to central board by pins

The central chess board (1) can be used as a chess or draughts board for two people, having 64 squares which are alternately black and white. On each side of the central board, pins (2) can be fitted so that chequered panels (3) with corresponding holes can be joined to it. A chess board for four players is obtained by joining on four rectangular panels each 24 squares, thus giving 160 squares which are alternately black and white. A draughts board for four players is obtained by adding on further panels to the rectangular panels, thus giving 260 squres alternately black and white.
