A remote controlled positioning system is designed to displace a mobile receiver element, to a determined position in accordance with the magnitude of a signal. The system includes a transmitter circuit (6) and at least one receiver circuit (14). The transmitter circuit has means of displaying the signal magnitude and of converting this magnitude into a signal whose frequency F1 is representative of the magnitude. Each receiver circuit (14) has a detector (7) which is resistive to the position of the mobile receiver (4) whose position must be at each instant in time that as controlled by the display means. The system has means of converting the signal emitted by the detector into a signal whose frequency F2 is representative of the indensity of the signal emitted by the detector (7).
