Rotary horizontal axis generator - has hinged weights with moment of descending weights exceeding moment of ascending weights

The machine consists of a metal disc mounted on a horizontal shaft. Pairs of levers are mounted on pivots equally spaced around the disc with one lever of each pair on each side of the disc. Weights are fixed to the ends of the levers and so arranged that the levers are unbalanced. As the disc rotates the levers on the descending side are held in the horizontal position by bolts. On the ascending side the levers assum a vertical attitude. The moment of the descending weights always exceeds the moment of the ascending weights and so the rotation of the disc is maintained.
