An electroacoustic transducer such as a loudspeaker for sound or musical reproduction is included in the output circuit of a power amplifier. Feedback is applied for the frequency range of operation to eliminate resonances to improve high frequency performance. A circuit to produce a constant acoustic pressure and a constant power at high frequencies includes a differential input power amplifier (7) which drives a loudspeaker (10) in series with two resistors (8, 9). Two elements in series (11, 12) across the loudspeaker terminals are used to obtain a constant voltage or constant current relative to frequency. Feedback from this network is applied to the inverting input on the amplifier.
