The preparation of compounds of the type 6-(mono substituted phenyl)-5, 6-dihydro or 2,3,5,6-tetrahydroimidazo 2,1-b!thiazoles and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, is described. The use of said compounds for treating helminthiasis in warm-blooded animals is also described.
