1423954 Pesticidal phosphorus-containing pyridazine and phthalazine derivatives BAYER AG 29 Aug 1974 [30 Aug 1973 21 Feb 1974] 37796/74 Heading C2P Novel compounds of Formula I where RSP1/SP is H, optionally substituted alkyl or aryl, alkenyl, alkynyl or a 5- or 6-membered heteroeyclic radical which is optionally bonded to the N atom via a methyl group and RSP2/SP and RSP3/SP are each H or alkyl or RSP2/SP and RSP3/SP form a (CH) 4 group and complete a fused benzene ring may be prepared by reacting a compound of Formula II with a compound of Formula III where Hal is halogen. Where R is alkyl suitable substituents are CN, halogen, alkoxycarbonyl, alkylcarbonyl, alkoxy and alkylthio and where RSP1/SP is aryl suitable substituents are halogen, alkyl, NO 2 , CN, alkoxy, alkylthio and haloalkyl. The compounds of Formula I have insecticidal and acaricidal properties and may be used as the active ingredients in conventional pesticidal compositions.
