Skewer driver for shish-kebabs, etc. - has guide clamp ensuring accurate alignment of bent skewers

A device for sepg. and pushing skewers during the mfr. of shishkebabs etc., has a magazine for the skewers, a plunger arrangement for pushing the skewers in, and a grooved rotary feeder presenting the skewers to the plunger. The bobbin-like feeder has two end flanges sepd. by a barrel having on their circumstances a series of grooves, in line with each other and spaced at a pitch. The skewer driver has a clamp and guide arrangement which descends into the gap between the flanges to enclose the skewer and align it for the plunger. Device enables the skewers, whether they are straight or not to be pushed in accurately and separately and be held in a straight line during the insertion process.
