The dwelling-house is erected on site from prefabricated components of tubular section. It acts as a core, round which the prefabricated wall and floor sections are mounted at right angles to the tubular sections, forming living rooms enclosed on two or more sides. It can be built up to eight storeys high. The weight of the upper tubular sections can be transmitted to the lower ones via the floor section of the wall-and-floor component, this being anchored to the top of the tubular section. The partition walls can be anchored at the bottom to the wall-and-floor sections underneath. The components can be of reinforced concrete.
