Shelving structure with a pair of longitudinal members (1) having a symmetrical section with an upper part in which the transverse members (2) fit. The section of the longitudinal members is such that support is given to both sides of the transverse members. The joint between the members may be by means of a bolt (3) passing through pairs of holes (6, 7) in the sides of the longitudinal members and the ends of the transverse members.
