Batch weigher with constant speed feed conveyor - has reduced flow for fine weighing which is effected by flow interceptor

The batch weigher is for agricultural products, such as onions, with a conveyor to bring the goods to be weighed to a weigher for transfer in weighed batches, provided with means to effect final weighing and adjustment without interrupting the flow of the goods along the input conveyor. The goods are brought in on a transporter (1), terminating above a receiver (4) and means are provided periodically to insert an interceptor so that most of the material from the transporter cannot enter the receiver, so providing the reduced input for flow for fine weighing.
