The fishing reel is fixed to the rod (6) by a bracket (1), hinge joint (2) bridge-piece (3) and sleeves. On the bracket (1) the fishing reel is fixed to the linereel (9) by a turning knob (10) via a threaded pin (7) on the drive-mechanism housing (8). Thepin (7) extends through an elongated slit (12) in the bracket (1). The line-reel (9) is operated by an electrical drive-mechanism inside the housing (8). The line-reel (9) can rotate on a boss (19) which has slits in and is flexible. The reel (9) can also be turned by a crank-handle (21). A friction wheel gear connects the motor friction wheel (22) and the intermediate wheel (23).
