A circuit prevents disturbing effects of interference signals caused by the frequency differences. The line oscillator is synchronised by received line synchronisation pulses, and the oscillator output pulses are applied through a drive stage to the line output stage. The receiver comprises a phase comparator in which line fly-back pulses appearing in the line output stage are compared with the line oscillator pulses; when phase or amplitude differences are large, it delivers a signal to a control stage (13) which evaluates this signal and generates a control signal for direct or indirect phase and/or frequency of the line output stage correction.
