The security arrangement for doors and windows has components fitted on the door and on the door frame. This lever arrangement can lock the door or the lock can be partly opened but it still prevents entry. This arrangement cannot be removed or forcibly torn away. The locking element (4) fitted on the door frame has a sloping part (7) so that the locking bracket pivoted on the door can move over this locking bracket. The locking bracket is adjusted so that it acts in conjunction with the bracket on the frame. The sloping connecting edge (7) joins a widened end (8) of the locking member (4). The pivoted locking bracket can be moved over end (8) only if the door is completely or approximately closed.
