The ratio between the maximum and minimum distances separating the parts is #3, the current density # 0À5 A/dmSP2/SP, voltage 3V, and the intervals between polarity reversal # 10 minutes. The vessel may be a heat exchanger with parallel plates, two pipes one within the other and insulated from each other or at least two mutually insulated coils mounted about the same longitudinal axis.
