1469841 Bearings RKS 14 March 1974 [20 March 1973] 11505/74 Heading F2A An apertured spacer for a thrust rolling bearing cage comprises a groove 4 or protuberance on the radially outer side designed to co-operate with a ring 8, and at the opposite side two cylindrical surfaces 9, 10 of identical radius which have their axes 9a, 10a parallel to that of said bearing, the said surfaces being arranged to engage with complementary surfaces provided on adjacent spacers. The rolling elements may be cylindrical or conical rollers, or balls, and each is a snap fit in the aperture of a respective spacer. The spacers and ring 8 are of plastics.
