1465520 Fluid-pressure actuators KLOCKNER-WERKE AG 31 July 1974 [4 Sept 1973] 33682/74 Heading F1D A fluid-pressure actuator, Fig. 1, has a mechanically adjustable stroke and plugs 10, 12 on opposite sides of the piston which enter recesses 22, 16 associated with inlet and outlet ducts 24, 20, to damp the ends of the stroke. The stroke is adjusted by screwing a rod 8 in or out of a threaded portion 26 of the hollow piston-rod. A lock nut 28 is provided. In a second embodiment, Fig. 2, a hollow piston-rod 50, which is internally threaded, receives an adjustable shaft 42 locked by a nut 52. Tapered plugs 44, 38 provide damping of the ends of the stroke.
