A structural panel consists of wood particle board, lined on one or both sides with bonded veneer which is covered by a transparent protective layer of a thermoplastic or thermosetting material. The whole sandwich layer is assembled in a press with heated platents. This panel is inexpensive to mfr. Its surface is attractive, smooth and wear resistant.
