Public shower bath with electromagnetic valve - has time delay switch in supply line to prevent waste of water

Water is oten wasted at public shower baths when the tap controlling the water supply is not fully closed after use. To overcome this problem, the shower (14) is fitted with an electro-magnetic valve (16) through which the mixed hot and cold water flows from the pipes. The electro--magnetic valve is operated by the electrical relay (3) which incorporates a time delay switch. The knob (6) is depressed and actuates the relay (3) through a push rod. This action opens the electro-magnetic valve (16) and automatically closes it again after a pre-determined interval. The flow of water is controlled by the valve (19) operated by handwheel (20).
