The sportsmans shooting jacket carries pads on both elbows and right shoulder face. The pad (2) on the left sleeve (1) is a strip less than half the surface of the sleeve and arranged to run round over the surface of the forearm, the outside of the elbow and the underneath side of the upper arm. The shoulder pad (6) extends over the front upper part of the right sleeve (3). The seam (4) joining the sleeve to the upper jacket runs halfway up the upper arm. The seam (7) between the front of the jacket and the rear is offset towards the rear on the right hand side of the jacket only. The seam between sleeve and upper part holds the pad (6) without creases in the shooting position.
