A device for fluidisation of the pulsation type for a powdery substance which difficult to move consists of a sheet of ductile materials which can be mounted against the walls of a receiver or a pipe, taking the shape of the wall, and a gauze permeable to air which lies loosely on the sheet and is connected to it at its edges, forming an air space between the sheet and the wall into which pulsed compressed air an be fed by a pipe connected to a hole in the sheet. The device is simple to install and can be supplied as a complete unit ready for mounting at any place required. It offers little resistance to powder flow, and is fully supported by the wall of the vessel and gives good fluidisation.
