The D/A converter has the digital input applied to the input winding of a magnetic core, and a flux detector is coupled to the core whose output is used to derive a flux compensation signal for the output winding. A first variable current source (Jx) is coupled in series with a standard resistor (Rs) across the output winding (wo) and is controlled by the flux detector. A second current source (Js) is connected to the input winding (Wi) and is controlled by an adjustment phase in the operation. During the conversion phase, the digital signal operates a switch (S) coupled to the input winding sub-windings.
