The method of manufacturing structures e.g. telephone kiosks, combines the use of thermo-setting and thermo-softening plastics. - A panel of thermo-softening plastic (2) is fitted into a frame of thermo-setting plastic (1) so that after curing the harder frame (1) grips the edges (3) of the softer panel (2). - The panel (2) can be pre-formed to a curved shape for added resistance to bending before the frame (1) is cured. Grooves or indentations can be formed in both frame (1) and panel (2) for improved adhesion. It is also possible to bend the combined panel to form a corner of the kiosk and to use a transparent plastic for the panel (2).
