The radio remote control, for models, controls two variables. It uses a modulated control signal which is of short duration and which is simple in form so that the receiver detector can also be simple and light in weight. - The two variables are controlled by a single carrier frequency pulse-length modulated by keying on and off using a multivibrator. The duration of the mark controls one variable, and the duration of the space the other variable. Alternatively,two adjacent carrier frequencies may be used, each assigned to one variable and controlling the variable by the duration of its pulses.
